1) What’s After Dark hosts many late night programs for your enjoyment. Student organizations and groups can play a role in the implementation of medium to large-scale initiatives. Many groups have great ideas for campus wide programming, but may not have the resources to plan or carry out the logistics to make the event successful. These programs fall into the following general criteria:
Please remember these are general criteria. All programming ideas will be taken into consideration and are expected to be collaborations or joint programming efforts. These types of events will normally require meeting with What’s After Dark Staff.
Instructions: Fill out an Event Application Form and the staff will contact you directly to schedule a meeting
2) Organizations or department who are planning events that would be considered “late night” under the What’s After Dark criteria may also present ideas to be included in the What’s After Dark weekend schedules. These events may be annual events that take place during What’s After Dark hours, annual events that are adapting to What’s After Dark set hours. These events may be primarily planned by the organization, office, or department, and more. These types of events may or may not require meeting with What’s After Dark Staff.
Remember, the earlier you approach What’s After Dark staff, the more likely it is that the event will be favorably considered and the less likely it will be that the calendar is full for the proposed date.
Instructions: Fill out an Event Application Form and the staff will contact you directly about the event.
Events may be submitted to be placed on the What’s After Dark Calendar without seeking money for co-sponsorship. These events comply with the What’s After Dark General Guidelines. If approved to appear on the calendar, this event may also appear in any additional marketing or publicity there may be for that weekend.
Remember, the earlier you submit your request, the more likely it is that the event will be favorably considered and the less likely it will be that the calendar is full for the proposed date.
Instructions: Fill out the Calendar Submission Form
Organizations, groups, departments, offices, university committees, and/or students may have an idea for a program they would like to see as a What’s After Dark program or would like to implement but do not have enough detail to fully complete the Event Application Form.If community members have an idea they would like to see implemented, they should contact the What’s After Dark staff to discuss the possibilities of development of that program or event.
